High Holiday Services at Kol HaNeshamah
We are meeting, beH, for services at 805 Columbus Avenue @100th Street.
Services will follow strict social distancing guidelines and complying with halakhic guidelines, will be much shorter. We will be having a simultaneous Indoor/outdoor option. The outdoor area will have a covered canopy; however, in the event of rain/ significant wind, we may not be able to hold the outdoor service; that will be determined on the morning of each day.
Once you reserve your seat, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation. You will need to bring your confirmation with you to be admitted. NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED WITHOUT PROOF OF REGISTRATION. Due to social distancing restrictions, we will not be able to offer Children's Services and Child Care. In addition, children must be 12 or over to join us.
All participants must wear a face mask over their nose and mouth at all times (no masks with valves allowed) and bring their own Machzor (prayer book), and where applicable, bring their own Kippah and Talit. People will be seated 6 ft away from others and must remain 6 feet away from others. You may not attend if you have experienced a fever or other symptoms in the last 2 weeks before the holidays.
Please be aware that by attending this event you agree to the following:
I am fully and personally responsible for my own safety and actions while and during my participation and I recognize that I may be in any case be at risk of contracting COVID-19. With full knowledge of the risks involved, I hereby release, waive, discharge KOL HANESHAMAH, its clergy, board, officers, independent contractors, affiliates, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me related to COVID-19 while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the premises or while using the facilities that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KOL HANESHAMAH, from and against any and all costs, expenses, damages, lawsuits, and/or liabilities or claims arising whether directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against any of the released party due to injury, loss, or death from or related to COVID-19. *
Do you acknowledge, that in the event of rain and/or heavy winds, we may not be able to accommodate the outdoor service?
Do you agree that if, God forbid, during the prior 14 days before any of the holidays you have any symptoms of Covid-19- cold, cough, fever, body aches, diarrhea, loss of smell or taste or simply feeling under the weather, you will not attend services at Kol HaNeshamah?
Do you affirm that if, God forbid, in the 14 days prior to the services you have been in close proximity with someone with COVID-19 symptoms or whom has tested positive for COVID in the past two weeks or have been asked to self-isolate or have returned from a state on NY's quarantine list in the past, you will not attend services at Kol HaNeshamah?
Do you agree that, if you attend services at Kol HaNeshamah and God forbid, subsequently are diagnosed with Covid-19, you will inform us? Anonymity is guaranteed; your name will not be disclosed to anyone but this information is vital so that others who attended High Holiday services can be properly informed and respond accordingly.
